business.jpgBUSINESS VENTURES:  This course is a project based learning course where the focus is business development.  Students will learn all principles of entrepreneurship, creating solutions to problems that produce profit, how to make investments, and create business plans for the different types of businesses.  In addition, students will perform business entrepreneurship apprentice challenges.  To be enrolled in this course, you must have taken Introduction to Business.  This is a year long course.  
OFFERED TO GRADE 8.


INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS:  This course is a project based learning course that introduces the basic principles of business and business operations, emphasizing such skills as marketing, management, operation and finance, and self-sufficiency in today’s world.  Students enrolled in this course will be given real world case studies in which you will have to apply the business principles taught to create business based problem solutions.  Also you will be responsible for all the marketing and advertising of events at Fleming during the school year.  This is a year long course.
OFFERED TO GRADES 7 AND 8.


WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?:  This course will explore the art of investing through various forms of investment methods including the Stock Market.  Students will create a stock portfolio, research investment opportunities, and learn various ways to make money grow.  This is a semester course.
