Objective:   To encourage students' creativity in the field of graphic design and drawing.
Description:    The students will explore the use of graphic media and use techniques to express themselves.
Club Open:   Magnet students in the Fine Arts Academy

Objective:   The students will promote ethnic awareness.
Description:    The students will use reading materials (books, magazines, music, art and theater for the discovery of their assignments.
Club Open:   7th & 8th Grade students

Objective:   To give students an opportunity to use more of their comprehension skills.
Description:    Students will read several chapters per week and collaborate

Objective:   To familiarize young participants with the fundamentals of cheerleading, and to provide them an  opportunity to participate in an extra curricular activity after school.
Description:    Focus on team building, collaborative groupings as well as focusing on motions, jump execution, voice, cheer presentation and routine memorization.

Objective:   The students will use their social skills, critical thinking, and mental stimulation.
Description:    The students will have tournament competitions.  They will compete with each other at designated times

Objective:   To expose students to music standards.
Description:    Students will interact with other music students to enhance the appreciation in other schools and National levels.
Club Open:   All students with a passion for music.

Objective:   To develop, equip, cultivate, nurture leadership skills and talents in young people.
Description:    Students will hear from guest speakers, participate in special projects, experience cultural enrichment, be interviewed, and have incentives for participation.

Objective:   Encourage students to follow rules, live a disciplined life, and be courteous to others and have love in their heart.
Description:    Students will take part in weekly activities that encourage positive Christian behavior.

Objective:   To all students to learn and sing Gospel music in a non-traditional setting.
Description:    The choir will be made up of interested students who may or may not have choir as an elective, and who are interested in learning and singing Gospel Music.

Objective:   The students will be engaged in thier assignments.
Description:    The students will complete their incomplete assignments.

Objective:   Compete in Gymnastics.
Description:    This club will practice routines, guidance, and perform.

Objective:   To learn praise dancing.  Learn how to express yourself spiritually through movement and sign language.
Description:    The students will dance to gospel and spiritual song.

Objective:   To serve as the leadership/leaders of the school and function as a science club.
Description:    Students with 85 above average and no conduct below "S".

Description:    This club will be responsible for the announcements.

Objective:   The students will be able to discuss why team work is important and the steps involved in team work.
Description:    The students will make pillows, embroidery on t-shirts and etc.

Objective:   To promote excellence in the field of Engineering, Technology and Science.  To increase the understanding and applications of technology in the school and the community.
Description:    A diversity of students working together to complete a specific task.  A learning model that plants seeds of multicultural understanding in cooperation, communication, collaboration and friendship to affect a positive outcome.

Objective:   The objective of the club is to develop the student's physical health and cooperative skills.
Description:    This club will consist of young men and women performing step sequence in uniformity.

Objective:   To give all students the opportunity to travel (geography) around the world and experience various cultures.
Description:    This club will use videos, computers, books, pictures, etc., to research information on various locations.
Club Open:   6th Grade Language Students

Objective:   The students will compose pictures and stores of the school year memories.  They will experience a form of journalism.
Description:    The students will put together a book of the year.  They will write, edit, present news, and photos.
Club Open:   All students
Sponsor:   Mrs. C. Gatewood and Mrs. L. Simmons

Objective:   To cultivate a positive environment, promote emotional maturity, academic achievement, and etiquettes among young women.
Description:    Young ladies club designed to teach various forms of etiquette.
Club Open:   Teacher selection based on academic/conduct grades and (3) teacher recommendations.

Objective:   To offer students every opportunity to learn the principals of entrepreneurship
Description:    The students will be involved first hand in the entrepreneurship experience of learning how to start and operate a business.  Students will also hold school and community activities and functions.
